Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Secrets Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside the Wedding Day, be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
If you've traveled all this way, we'd love for you to make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available as early as June 3 to 10, 2024. And the Wedding Day is on Thursday, June 6th. We recommend that you arrive at least 2 days before the Wedding Day. But please come and stay as long as you'd like.  

What should I wear to the wedding?
Please dress formally for the wedding. Think beachy, but elegant.

Are kids invited to the wedding?
While we love your families, this is an adults-only resort -- so only adults (those ages 18 and up) can attend our celebration.  

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to Secrets Vallarta Bay is included with our group block rates. 

Do you we have to stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
All guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding celebration. If you are not staying at Secrets Vallarta Bay, you will be required to pay a day pass to attend our wedding ceremony and reception for the day. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, insect repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay.

How do payments work when there are multiple people sharing a room?
When multiple guests are staying in a room together, they will all be listed on the invoice and each person can submit their payment for their share. If the 2nd or 3rd person drops out, then  the room rate would be adjusted for the updated occupancy and the remaining occupant(s) would have to pay for that difference.
